Coffee roasting and packaging are provided by Source Cafe. The property at Plot 20 is home to a craft shop, internet cafe, lending library, cafe, ministry training school, three NGOs, computer training centre, church, and conference centre.Our premium Arabica coffee is grown on the Kapchorwa slopes of Mount Elgon among the Bagisu people.  In Jinja the parchment from the single-origin beans is removed and only the finest are hand selected.  A master roaster then roasts the premium beans to perfection, providing an exceptional experience for the lover of either a dark or medium roast coffee.Through Direct Trade we pay local farmers competitive prices and through the quality control process, provide jobs for the underemployed in the Jinja community.Please take a bag home and share not only rich coffee, but the story of a quality process from a vibrant people, crop to cup.The Source Cafe and Resource Centre is at its core a place that gives.  It gives weary travelers a place to check email and drink great coffee.  It gives locals a quiet morning place to read a novel or have a quick meeting.  The Source provides resources that just aren't available anywhere else.  We do this while paying all our bills and taxes, and somehow at the end of the day we have some resources left over. We've decided to put those resources into the very economy in which we find ourselves, building infrastructure for the long term.

From its early days, ZICOFE has been a name to reckon with in the industry of coffee production, processing and export. The company was one of the first indigenous firms to build its own primary processing plant which was able to sell Fair Average Quantity (FAQ) coffee locally, and soon afterwards internationally. Over the years, the company has embraced change for its own betterment and improvement of rural livelihoods through providing employment opportunities and, market to small scale coffee producers around the country. In order to keep abreast with the latest trends in the industry, the company has branched out to the more refined levels of coffee roasting which is a value-addition strategy.

Zigoti coffee is a brand of Uganda's finest Arabica coffee organically grown on the mountains of Bugisu and Sebei. The company buys patchment coffee from individual farmers who use hand-operated pulpers to produce washed Arabica coffee. On the world market there is an increased demand for washed coffee over the naturals.Washed coffees are often described as milder and have a less bitter taste. Hence Zicofe had a mission as one of the strategic ways to add value to Uganda's coffee by roasting, grinding and packaging of washed Arabica coffee.Our roasted beans are 100% Ugandan coffee that is freshly roasted and packed to give the finest coffee Africa has to offer.ZICOFE embraces several degrees of roast  including light roast, medium roast and dark roast.
