Bella Exotica ltd is situated in the north of Mauritius Island where most of the land is cultivated by big or small planters growing various types of crops which consist of various vegetables and fruit. The company has entitled adequate number of planters in this vicinity to collect from their cultivation and bring to the cold storage for packing and then exporting to serve its clients. Pineapples Variety: Queen Victoria The season for pineapples in Mauritius is whole year. Packing of Pineapples Fresh pineapples are packed in boxes of 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5 kgs net per box depending order from client. It is packed in different sizes from 5 to 12 in maturity M2 and M3. All fruits are exported in heat treated wooden pallets of 104 boxes. Packing of Lychees 1. Sulphured lychees: These fruits are detached from peduncles and then placed in aerated crates in a sealed container where they are treated with sulphur dioxide. These lychees are packed in 2 kgs net per box and are palletized in heat treated wooden pallet of 260 boxes. 2. Fresh lychees: It is packed in a long shelf life plastic in 4 kgs net per box.
